Alert Specifications
Thresholds:
Upper Fifteenmile Creek (Pine Creek, Moody): 22°C / 72°F.
Lower Fifteenmile Creek (Kaser, 15/8 Mile, Eightmile): 23°C / 73°F.
Alert issued:

threshold for 2 or more consecutive forecast days.
Minimum duration:
Once issued, the alert remains active for a minimum of 5 days regardless of
whether predicted temperatures drop below thresholds.
Alert called off:
After the 5-day minimum has elapsed, the alert is cancelled when all three
conditions are met: (1) at least 5 days have passed since the alert was first
issued, (2) the current day's predicted temperatures at all sites are below
their thresholds, and (3) the forecast shows 2 or more sites below threshold
for 2 or more consecutive days, confirming the heat event is ending.
